Self-Healing Seminar

This self-healing seminar is based on the principles of Jin Shin Jyutsu^®, which is a gentle type of acupressure.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle and comfortable way to work on your health and well-being, by using your hands as jumper cables to harmonize the body. The simplicity of Jin Shin Jyutsu is amazing and allows it to be used anywhere at any time by anybody. It encourages you to integrate self-healing into your busy day-to-day life.

Mechteld & Ivo of Sacred Journeys facilitate this self-healing 2-day seminar.
You will learn and be empowered with this easy self-healing art, which helps you to maintain and/or establish well-being on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

This seminar is held at Sacred Journeys Sanctuary near Tauranga & Katikati.

Mechteld is gifted in working with people, young and old, especially people who might find it difficult to find a place in society. Her journey with special children and youth has been a path of great learning and discovery, which encouraged her to look for alternative ways. Mechteld works with warmth, touch, color and art. Her caring treatments are tailored to what feels right for you and what is most helpful for you at this moment to nurture, strengthen, encourage and inspire you. Mechteld has a background in nursing and holistic nursing, Jin Shin Jyutsu^®, massage, Reflexology, Reiki, Aura-Soma^®,shamanism and herbalism.

Ivo’s shamanic work started by being part of the exploration of the healing medicinal gifts of the native flora, fauna, animals and minerals of New Zealand during the development stage of ‘The Rainbow Essences of Aotearoa’. Since 2001 Ivo has intensively practiced shamanic healing for people and the land, and often his healing work involved de-possession and clearing of curses. Ivo has studied and practiced the impact healing technique Contact Care, and Jin Shin Jyutsu, which is a gentle art of acupressure to restore harmony in the body. Ivo is a father of 5 children. He is passionate about his children and family and he volunteers for ‘Essentially Men’ in Auckland, connecting and inspiring men to be real and get more out of life.
